IN-WATER PIER REMOVAL

Requires no cofferdam or personnel below the surface.
Remotely operated non-fracturing process separates both concrete & reinforcement.
Environmentally clean with minimal disruption to mud and silt.

MODULAR SYSTEMS ARE ADAPTABLE FOR ALMOST ALL STRUCTURE TYPES
(UHP) demolition rings are fabricated to specification for each project.
Most variations and different geometries are possible.

Oval-Round and Jacketed Piers
The sectioning process varies little when processing round piers. Demolition rings are simply designed and fabricated to fit and cling to the circumference of the pier.
Pier diameters to six feet have been successfully sectioned using non-fracturing (UHP) techniques. Piers or piles with metal jackets or heavy reinforcement can be sectioned.
A single 180 degree rotation will complete the separation.

Complex Structures & Hollow Caissons
Hollow caissons are generally removed in sections depending on available lifting equipment. These structures are often heavily reinforced and are traditionally considered difficult to cut.

Conventional wire sawing can be used to cut complex and large structures to just above the waters surface (24-36 inches above the water line)

The programmable demolition robot is installed on top of the remaining portion of the structure. The operator guides the system through the desired series of steps required to yield the optimal number of liftable sections. . .
